Terms and Conditions
Article 1 :	We always greet our guests personally. We take great pleasure in looking after their comfort and helping them discover our beautiful region.

Article 2 :	Length of stay: Having specified the length of their anticipated visit, Clients cannot arbitrarily decide on a longer stay without Owners' consent. Rooms are available daily from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Having agreed to Owners' opening and closing hours as specified in our terms and conditions, Clients cannot insist on occupying premises for longer periods of time without Owners' consent.

Article 3 :	Confirmation of reservation and payment of balance: Clients' stay is only guaranteed after reception of down-payment which will be deducted from bill presented at arrival time. Down-payment is deposited with bank at time of reception. Down-payment is to be made within 5 days of request for reservation Down-payment requested: -- For one night stay: payment in full -- For longer stays: 50% of total bill. Payment of down-payment implies accepting present terms and conditions of rental. It is only at cashing of down-payment that reservation is confirmed and guaranteed. Down-payment may be taken care of by: -- French check drawn on French bank account -- Electronic bank wire Balance may be taken care of by -- French check drawn on French bank account -- Cash in Euros. Beverages, supplements and other expenses will be billed at departure time.

Article 4 :	Cancellation by Clients: Given our limited number of rooms available for rent (5), every cancellation has a significant impact on us. In case of cancellation or shortened stay by Clients, French Code Civil Article N° 1590 shall apply and there will be no refund. Il Clients have not arrived by 8:00 PM and have not contacted Owners about late arrival, it will be considered that their reservation has been cancelled and Owners will be free to rent room to other guests. Down-payment will not be refundable. It is strongly suggested to Clients to purchase Travel Insurance with cancellation clause.

Article 5 :	Cancellation by Owners: If Owners cancel reservation, Clients will be immediately refunded for sums already paid.

Article 6 :	Arrival time: Rooms are available daily from 5:00 PM on. Il Clients have not arrived by 8:00 PM and has not contacted Owners about late arrival, it will be considered that reservation has been cancelled and Owners will be free to rent room to other guests. Down-payment will not be refundable.

Article 7 :	Departure time: Rooms are to be vacated by 10:00 AM.

Article 8 :	Change of room: Owners may, for any reasons deemed necessary, replace room initially reserved by another one of similar or larger size and capacity. Cost of rental remains the same.

Article 9 :	Taxe de Séjour: Our Communauté de Communes has established a Taxe de Séjour amounting to 0,40 Euros per person and per night. Children under 12 are exempt. Collected tax is paid to Tax Office.

Article 10 :	Children: Children are always welcome in our home. Children are accepted solely under care, supervision and responsibility of their parents.

Article 11 :	Pets: Pets are not allowed anywhere on property, including park. In case of non respect of this clause, Owners' refusal to accept Clients cannot be construed as a cancellation of reservation on the part of Owners.. In case of Clients' departure, there will be no refund.

Article 12 :	Way of life and rhythm of our home: In order to insure comfort and enjoyment of our property by all residents, guests are expected to respect rules specified in these conditions or posted in their room. To insure peace and safety for all our guests as well as their vehicles parked on property, our gate and doors are locked at midnight. Entire property, including park, is strictly a non-smoking area. In case of non respect of this clause, Owners' refusal to accept Clients cannot be construed as a cancellation of reservation on the part of Owners. In case of Clients' departure, there will be no refund. At departure time, Clients are expected to leave room, furnishings and linens in perfect condition. In case of damages, Clients will be expected to pay for repairs or replacement. Kitchen and laundry room are off limits.

Article 13 :	Terms and conditions: These terms and conditions may be changed by Owners at any time without any advanced notice. Receipt of down-payment seals acceptance of Rental Terms and Conditions.

Article 14 :	January 6th, 1978 Law: Clients have the right to have access to and correct information pertaining to them. Château de Quarante will not share any information concerning Guests to other businesses.
